Description: As an executive with IP Navigation Group and working with inventors, small companies, multi-national corporations, funds, universities and research institutions, the Monetization Specialist is responsible for successfully assisting our clients in monetizing their patents. The Monetization Specialist will perform diligence on patent portfolios, formulate and execute monetization strategies, negotiate patent licenses, manage client relationships at the executive level, and work closely with inventors, experts and counsel.

Qualifications: The ideal candidates will have relevant undergraduate and graduate degrees, as well as a deep understanding of patents, various fields of technology, litigation, and licensing. You will have worked directly on numerous patent transactions and litigations, demonstrating that you know analysis and transactional execution. A law degree is a positive—but not if you think like a lawyer. Deep contacts within the IP industry are also a plus.

Personal Traits: Ability to work independently and multitask. Excellent communication skills (both oral and written). Ability to think and act strategically. Like to work without a net. Not a whiner.

Other Information:

• Location: In the US, the preferred location is Dallas, Texas. In Europe, preferred location is Dublin, Ireland.
• Compensation: Base plus bonus structure. Perform and you will be better paid than any of your peers.
