Erich Spangenberg currently advises patent owners in hundreds of enforcement, acquisition, commercialization and monetization transactions through his various companies. 

He is widely seen as a pioneer in the patent monetization market and has become one of the most successful patent licensors in the country. 

He has been profiled in news articles worldwide due to his reputation for consistently challenging big corporations on behalf of his clients.

When not advising his clients on patent monetization issues, Erich spends his time investing, speaking at events around the world and working with his charitable foundation, The Spangenberg Family Foundation.

Work History:

Previously, Erich was a partner at the law firm of Jones Day in their corporate division; Senior Vice President of Investment Banking at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette; and served as the president of both Smartalk Teleservices and Acclaim Ventures Group.
